Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka is a British-American sitarist and musician. She is also the youngest and first woman to be awarded a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Sitar Shankar is an Indian young sitar star. She is a student and daughter to Ravi Shankar. Born in London, she spent the beginning of her career moving between London as well as New Delhi. As a teenager the first time she performed in New Delhi took place. In Encinitas CA in 1999 she received an honorary high school certificate.
